COVID-19 IPI Operational Updates
from Bob Fairfax, Director of Sales & Marketing
During the previous weeks, some businesses across Iowa have been given the opportunity to re-open, albeit in limited capacities with precautions in place to ensure the health and safety of all Iowans. IPI is continuing to take many precautions in both our office and manufacturing environments while ensuring we are meeting the needs of our customers.
We are pleased to announce that our Des Moines Sales & Customer Service Office will reopen to the public effective immediately with the following safeguards in place:
- Staff will be limited and following social distancing guidelines
- Appointments are required; group size limited to three
- No customer deliveries / pickups
- All staff and customers' temperature taken upon entry
- Hand sanitizer provided & gloves available for use
- Masks required
All other safety measures previously put in place (see prior updates below) are still in effect. Additionally, we have modified our shop schedules to reduce staff in our manufacturing areas to 50% of staff and incarcerated individuals without reducing our overall operating capacity.
While our shop operations are still going strong, we are continuing to see disruptions in our supply chain deliveries as many of our suppliers are struggling with closures, furloughs, and issues with deliveries of raw materials. While we will do our best to keep the website updated with specific product delivery concerns and to contact customers on specific orders that will be delayed, if you have any questions regarding delivery of products and orders, please contact Customer Service at 800-332-7922.
Please visit our COVID-19 Solutions page for products available to provide your facilities protection against COVID-19 such as hand sanitizer, disinfectants, signs, and transaction screens.
