ISAC Annual Conference, Aug 23 - 24
From August 23 - 24 you can find IPI at the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) Annual Conference. This event will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Community Choice Credit Union in Des Moines, IA.
2017 Central Region NCIA Training Conference, Sept 25 - 27
Next, we will be attending the 2017 Central Region NCIA Training Conference from September 25 - 27. This event will be held at the Chula Vista Resort and Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
Instead of having an exhibit, IPI will be hosting two seminars at this event. All IPI managers and various plant staff are attending this training opportunity.
IPI's Director of Sales and Marketing, Bob Fairfax, will be hosting a seminar on "Implementing a Call Center Training Program." Steve Forbes, IPI's Lean Training Specialist, will lead a seminar on "Lean Manufacturing in a Corrections Environment."
League Of Cities Annual Conference and Exhibit, Sept 27 - 28
Iowa Prison Industries will be going to the League of Cities' Annual Conference and Exhibit in Davenport, IA from September 27 - 28.
AIA Iowa Convention, Sept 28 - 29
Then, we will be at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Iowa Convention. This event will take place in Des Moines, IA. We will be there from September 28 - 29.
2017 Great Plains Regional Meeting, Oct 3
On October 3, IPI will be at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Omaha, NE for the NAEP 2017 Great Plains Regional Meeting.
Iowa Lean Consortium, Oct 9 - 10
IPI will be attending the Iowa Lean Consortium from October 9 - 10 as a training opportunity to learn more about utilizing Lean in our organization. Managers and staff from several IPI locations are attending. This event will take place in Altoona, IA.
2017 ICA Fall Conference, Oct 11 - 12
Next, Iowa Prison Industries will be in Des Moines Iowa for the Iowa Corrections Association's fall conference. We will be there from October 11 - 12.
ITEC 2017 Fall Conference

Later in October, we will be attending the Iowa Technology and Education Connection (ITEC) 2017 Fall Conference. This event will take place at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. We will be there from October 16 - 17.
ILA Annual Conference, Oct 18 - 19
Our next stop will be the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa for the ILA Annual Conference. We will be at this event from October 18 - 19.
IMFOA Conference, Oct 18 - 19
Next, Iowa Prison Industries will be going to the Iowa Municipal Finance Officers Association (IMFOA) Conference. We will be here from October 18 - 19.
2017 IEMSA Annual Conference, Nov. 9 - 11
We will be going to the 28th Annual IEMSA Conference and Trade Show in Des Moines Iowa. You can find us there from November 9 - 11.
IASB Annual Convention and Trade Show, Nov 15 - 16
Lastly, we will be attending the IASB Annual Convention and Trade Show in Des Moines, IA from November 15 - 16.
