New Customer Account Setup

To request an account to purchase from IPI - Iowa Prison Industries, please complete the following steps:

Review the eligibility requirements mandated per Iowa Code. All groups or individuals must meet these requirements in order to purchase from Iowa Prison Industries. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 800-332-7922.
Complete the appropriate Request for Credit Account form (Organization or Personal/Individual). IPI Customer Service will review your application and contact you with your account number or with any questions. Please note the following:
1. Organizations: If claiming tax-exempt status, an Iowa tax exempt certificate must be supplied. Non-profit organizations must provide proof of active status with the State of Iowa.
2. Personal / Individuals: Proof of employment with an eligible employer may be required.
Register to shop the IPI website. Please have your account number that you received in the previous step available to enter during to the registration process.
