CD Imaging / Archiving

The storage of documents can take up a lot of room in your office. With Iowa Prison Industries CD Imaging / Archiving system, you can fit the contents of an entire 5-drawer filing cabinet on 1 CD!

Your documents are scanned into our computer system and are quality checked for readability. Our scanners can accept documents from 8.5" x 5.5" up to 40" wide for blue prints and system diagrams.

Depending on how you need to retrieve your data, inmates then key searchable data into fields to index the files. We also have OCR capabilities which allow you to search an entire scanned document rather than just certain fields.

After the final quality checks and reviews, your data will be burned onto a CD. We can export the imaged documents in over 30 different formats or can even have our software supplier write a custom program for other software formats.
