Iowa State University MBA Students Complete Project for IPI

For the third year in a row, IPI has had the opportunity for a team of Iowa State University MBA students to complete a project for us.

As part of ISU's Professional Skills Development II class, teams of MBA students are partnered with local non-profit organizations on projects they need assistance with. It's been win-win for IPI and the students; IPI gets assistance with a project that we may otherwise not have time or skills to complete, and the students gain experience with teamwork, collaboration and community service.

For this year's project, the MBA student team researched the Health Care Textiles market for IPI via phone and on-line surveys to health care facilities in Iowa. The project culminated in the team's fifteen-minute presentation to faculty and students as well as a written report. IPI will use the compiled research data and the team's recommendations as we continue researching and developing textiles products for the health care market.

Prior years projects involved research of the church market and development of a social media strategy for IPI.

IPI would like to thank the MBA students for their hard work on this project, and we look forward to continuing to work the student teams in the future.
